THE ORIGIN OF STG:
It would be the twilight of a dying age, the end of the Sunset strip. The same place that fueled young egos to stardom would soon become a place of nostalgic mockery. The torched had passed leaving an army of wounded soldiers with runny noses and broken dreams. Among the fallen gods stood Sexually Transmitted Guitar, whom had pioneered a fascist rock movement in the late eighties. By 1993 though, the hard living legends were out of work and out of time, holding hands with the devil. That is until a chance encounter with a mysterious producer would change the fabric of our young heroes existence, forever. Ron Tiki never anticipates, but something drew him toward the unlikely promise of a second chance. Edward Cromly was working as a bouncer at a strip club in Tampa, while General Lieberman placed in himself in self-proclaimed “san-san” back home in Virginia. Things were not looking good for either, the momentum of the eighties had quickly placed the band in a perpetual downward spiral. God only knows the favors he bestows, so when the two met Ron Tiki at a Workout concert, history was the consequence…………. --
