THE ORIGIN OF STG:
|
|
It would be the twilight of a dying age, the end of the Sunset strip.
The same
place that fueled young egos to stardom would soon become a place of
nostalgic
mockery. The torched had passed leaving an army of wounded soldiers
with runny
noses and broken dreams. Among the fallen gods stood Sexually
Transmitted
Guitar, whom had pioneered a fascist rock movement in the late
eighties. By
1993 though, the hard living legends were out of work and out of time,
holding
hands with the devil. That is until a chance encounter with a
mysterious
producer would change the fabric of our young heroes existence,
forever.
Ron Tiki never anticipates, but something drew him toward the unlikely
promise
of a second chance. Edward Cromly was working as a bouncer at a strip
club in
Tampa, while General Lieberman placed in himself in self-proclaimed
“san-san”
back home in Virginia. Things were not looking good for either, the
momentum
of the eighties had quickly placed the band in a perpetual downward
spiral.
God only knows the favors he bestows, so when the two met Ron Tiki at a
Workout
concert, history was the consequence………….
